Dr. Kishor Adhikari is the Campus Chief of the Institute of Crisis Management Studies (ICMS), Kathmandu, and a Visiting Professor at O.P. Jindal Global University, where he previously served as an Associate Professor of Behavioural Sciences. With doctoral-level training and extensive academic and professional experience in counseling, coaching, mentoring, and education, Dr. Kishor brings a unique blend of behavioral science and practical insights to his work. His professional journey spans across Silicon Valley (California), Bengaluru (India), and Nepal, allowing him to integrate global perspectives into his teaching and practice. He has served as the Principal of Samarpan Academy ICMS in Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu, and has also taught at Christ University, Bangalore.
Dr. Kishor has expertise in Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and is particularly passionate about developing competent HR managers and fostering entrepreneurship by merging behavioral science with technology. He is actively involved in character strength development and positive psychology-based interventions aimed at youth empowerment and leadership training. He is the founder of People Development Lab Pvt. Ltd., and serves as a member of the Board of Directors at ICMS. He teaches Career Development, International Human Resource Management (IHRM), and HRD Strategies to MBA students as an adjunct faculty member in several institutions. In recognition of his academic excellence, Dr. Kishor received the Nepal Bidhya Bhushan Padak ( Class A & B) from the Government of Nepal in 2018. The same year, he was honored with the Information Communication Technology Award for his innovation in psychometric assessment in Nepal.
Dr. Adhikari is deeply committed to the entrepreneurial development of youth and continues to be a thought leader at the intersection of psychology, human resource development, and crisis management.
